Yeti Airlines ATR skids off TIA runway

A Yeti Airlines ATR plane has skidded off the runway at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Friday morning. The plane (NYT-422) coming from Nepalgunj skidded on the slippery runway and reached the taxiway on course of landing at 11:05 in the morning. There were 69 persons on board including 66 passengers and three crew members. Two passengers have suffered minor injuries while others have been safely rescued, according to Spokesperson at the TIA Pratap Tiwari The airport has been shutdown after the incident.
