A new hospital, Divya Jyoti Hospital, has started providing services.
The hospital is located at Biratnagar-14 and claims to provide services by skilled human resources at minimum charge.
The people of Morang and neighboring districts as well as those from areas across the bordering India will be benefited, it is stated.
Member of federal parliament Shiva Kumar Mandal inaugurated the hospital on Saturday. On the occasion, he urged the health institutions to provide affordable and reliable services using the newest technology to the poor.
He added that the government would take the responsibility of health and education services. The hospital operates 24-hour emergency service, OPD service, obstetrics and gynecology services, neo-natal and pediatric service, ophthalmological, orthopedics and neurological, renal, ENT, dental and oral health services.
Similarly, it provides ECG, digital X-ray, ultrasound, automated lab and pharmacy as well, Hospital manager Pushpa Bikram Basnet said.
