Man arrested for possessing narcotic drugs

A team from the Narcotics Control Bureau Kathmandu and the Area Police Office Gajuri has arrested a person for possessing opium and marijuana Monday morning. The police team arrested Kalche Bohara, 46, of Uttar Behada, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-4, Kailali district in this connection. He was arrested from a gravel road at Sotikhola of Gajuri rural municipality-1, Dhading district. Police confiscated 978 grams of opium and 47 kilograms marijuana hidden in false bottom under the back seat of a Maruti Suzuki car (registration plate number DL 3 CAD 7081). According to police, Bohara will be prosecuted under the narcotics substance peddling charge.
