A copper plaque reflecting the names of individuals who donated to a Gyanmahayagya conducted at Siddhakali Temple – a famous pilgrimage destination of Nepal based in Chainpur municipality-3 – was unveiled on Sunday.
Prakash Man Singh, former Deputy Prime Minister and Nepali Congress leader, unveiled the copper plaque amidst a program. He expressed happiness over the gradual institutional development and growth of the historical site.
Khagendra Adhiakri, chair of the Purana Organizing Committee, pledged to utilize the public money for the construction of wall and other infrastructure on the temple premises.
The Mahayagya had raised a fund of Rs 2.1 from individual donors.
