Dr Singh elected central member of ISN Council

Senior nephrologist Prof Dr Dibya Singh Shah has been elected the central member of the Council of International Society of Nephrology (ISN). Dr Shah who currently works at the Institute of Medicine has also been elected the vice-president of the ISN Council, the South Asian region. She defeated her competitors from Pakistan and Bangladesh through online voting to get elected to both the posts. The voting results were announced at the recent Council’s international conference in Melbourne, Australia.
