Scooter rider killed in Tanahun road mishap

A person died in a road accident at Damauli of Tanahun district along Prithvi Highway Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Sharma, 23, of Vyas municipality-10. According to the District Police Office, the accident took place when the micro bus (Ga 1 Ya 489) hit the scooter (Ga 13 Pa 9181) at Vyas municipality-4. Critically injured scooter rider, Sharma, died while receiving treatment Damauli Hospital, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Lilaraj Lamichhane. Police have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle.
