Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli unveiled book 'Marichika' written by author Mahesh Thapa amidst a program organized at Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar on Friday.
Speaking at the program, PM Oli lauded author Thapa for his intense and continuous contribution in the Nepali literature.
"Author Thapa has become a source of inspiration to many people. Persons with physical disability can learn from him and aid in nation-building," said PM Oli.
The member of Nepal Academy and litterateur Maya Thakuri praising Thapa's writings said that his works are outstanding.
Meanwhile, journalist and writer Abhaya Shrestha also commended that Thapa's stories are different from the conventional Nepali stories.
Thapa has been suffering from motor neuron diseases from the past 16 years. His Autobiography 'Alpbiram' and satirical collection 'Namonamah' are his creations.
The book 'Marichika' was published by Shangrila Publication.
