Questions of science of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) rescheduled in Province 2, after that of science and social studies were leaked, have again been leaked on Friday to help in cheating.
SEE examinations in the province were cancelled after the question papers of two subjects--science and social studies--were leaked on March 28 and 29 respectively. The rescheduled examinations started on Friday and questions have again been leaked on the first day itself.
Questions have been leaked from Barkurwa examination center in Dhanusha through mobile phones immediately after the examinations started on Friday. Mobile phones are banned inside the examination hall and only the chief of the examination center is allowed to carry one during the rescheduled examinations.
An invigilator has been arrested with a mobile phone from the center. Shankar Yadav, who teaches at Fakir Chandgami Secondary School, has been held by a monitoring team. Yadav had reportedly hidden the mobile phone inside the instrument box of a student and he leaked the questions once the students were given the question papers.
The police on Thursday made six persons including two police constables involved in leakage of question papers for SEE in Province 2.
The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) and Saptari Police jointly organized a press conference to make the sextet public. Police constables from Area Police Office, Kalyanpur in Siraha Brahma Dev Sunrait--who was also appearing for the examinations--and Dipendra Kumar Mandal, Bishnu Dev Yadav, Manoj Yadav, Rajesh Yadav and Umesh Yadav were made public during the press conference.
