A daylong health camp, organized by Shreedal Gulma of Nepal Army, benefited over 300 people of Chhayanath Rara municipality-9, Murma. The camp was held in the presence of a health team of Nepal Army.
In a bid to improve health condition of the inaccessible poor people, the camp had sensitized public on health issues and also distributed different 60 types of medicines at free of cost.
Most of the female attending the camp were detected with the complications of uterus pro-lapse and lower abdominal pain.
Back pain, gastritis and ear infection, among others, were found common problems being faced by the people, said Dr Binod Thapa of NA who was involved in providing treatment to the people in the camp.
Locals from Murma, Pina and Toom of Rara municipality, Seri, Jumfai and Nigalibot of Khatyd rural municipality took benefits from the camp. "We received free checkups services and medicine from the camp. We the poor people could not go to well-equipped places for treatment. It was of great help for us", said Bachurupa BK of Rara Chhayanath municipality-5.
