Fire guts property worth Rs 1.5 million in Palpa

Property worth Rs 1.5 million was gutted by fire at Tansen Kajipauwa of Palpa district Tuesday. The property was gutted when a cotton factory caught fire due to short circuit. Two machines, quilts, mattresses, and other goods were destroyed by the fire, said proprietor of the cotton factory, Ajay Chaudhary. Locals and security personnel doused the fire, said Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Palpa, Krishna Raj Sapkota.
