Around 1,000 people were benefited from a free health camp organized at Swara of Barpak Sulikot rural municipality-3 in Gorkha district.
The locals of Swara and Saurpani received different health services in the two-day camp organized from Sunday, said a teacher at Majhthar Secondary School, Salina Gurung. The health camp was organized by Karma flights Foundation Nepal, Pokhara, with the support of Barpak Sulikot rural municipality-3 Lions Club of Pokhara Sky Town, and Swara health post.
Majhthar Secondary School had provided technical support for the same. A five-member team of doctors comprising Orthopedic surgeon Dr Ishwor Sharma and Genealogical specialist Dr Sarita Gurung provided treatment of different diseases including orthopedic, reproductive health and family planning service to the locals.
