Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Gokarna Bista has said that it was necessary to impart training to new youth human resources as per the demand of domestic labor market.
Addressing the 'National Youth Leadership Summit-2019' here Tuesday, Minister Bista said that the government has been making preparation to imparting skills and trainings, under the single umbrella to prepare human resources as per the demand of domestic labor market.
He said, "The government has formed a committee in order to impart skills and trainings to youths to fulfill demand and necessity of labor market."
The Committee would make projection of human resources, skills and training necessary in domestic labor market in days ahead and produce capable human resources as per this.
Minister Bista said that it was challenging to match human resource produced and works of domestic labor market every year.
Clarifying that the government has already implemented minimum wage to labors after determining it in order to attract youth towards employment opportunities available in the country, he said that an arrangement has been made to deposit wages of laborers in the bank account for guaranteeing their rights to get minimum wages.
Minister Bista further said that attraction of youths could be seen in domestic labor market from Social Security Scheme based on contribution, which was recently announced by the government.
He also pointed out the need of making plans to bring youths, adopted overseas employment, back to the country.
Saying it was necessary to increase participation of youths in policy-making by orienting the youth human resources, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister, Bishnu Rimal, said that the government has been moving ahead for the arrangement of domestic labor market.
