Three persons have been killed in separate road accidents in Makawanpur and Nuwakot districts today.
In Makawanpur, two persons were killed and 17 others were injured when the bus (Ba 4 Kha 2217) heading toward Hetauda from Bhaktapur carrying marriage procession fell off the road at Gadhi rural municipality-2.
The identities of the deceased have not been ascertained yet.
Of the injured, five are said to be in critical condition. The injured have been taken to Hetauda Hospital.
Similarly, in Nuwakot district, a motorcyclist, who was injured in a road accident at Bidur municipality-5 on Monday night, died Tuesday in course of treatment at Trishuli Hospital. The deceased has been identified as Binod Thapa Magar, 16, of Bidur municipality-9, according to the District Police Office.
Similarly, injured Nimesh Thapa Magar is receiving treatment at the same hospital.
The accident took place when the motorcycle (Ba 63 Pa 563) heading toward Battar from Devighat fell 10 meters off the road due to over speed, said police.
