Burial of drinking water source troubles local

The burial of drinking water source in course of road widening drive has put the locals in trouble. Rampant use of dozer in widening road buried the source of drinking water, causing the disruption of its supply. Locals have voiced their complaints that the source of drinking water was buried at Chheufan in Rainadevi Chhahara rural municipality-5, Mujhung due to ignorance while expanding the local road. The boulders and soil extracted in course of expanding road were thrown to the source of drinking water that resulted in disruption of its supply, said Nur Bahadur Budhathoki, a local. As many as 60 households of Mujhung Chheufan are facing the crisis of drinking water after the obstruction of water flow.
