The final rites of Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari, who died in the Air Dynasty chopper crash, will be performed on Friday.
Bodies of all seven victims including Tourism Minister Adhikari have been taken to the Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital for conducting post-mortem. They will be kept at Tundikhel for paying last respects after conducting post-mortem.
Spokesperson of Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Narayan Kaji Shrestha informed that the bodies of all victims will be placed at Tundikhel for paying final respects.
The body of Minister Adhikari will be sent to Pokhara for cremation.
The crashed helicopter was carrying seven people including Tourism Minister Rabindra Adhikari, owner of Yeti Airlines and Air Helicopter Company Air Dynasty Ang Tshering Sherpa, pilot Prabhakar KC, under secretary Yubaraj Dahal, Deputy Director- General of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal Birendra Kumar Shrestha, Authority’s Dhurba Das Bhochhibhoya and Minister Adhikari’s security guard Arjun Ghimire.
