More than 15,000 people have been benefited from 11-days health camp organized by the Ministry of Health and Population with the support of Nepal Army at Rajbiraj.
A total of 15,134 people including 6,368 men and 8,766 women received different types of health services in the camp, concluded on Saturday, said Major Amar Bahadur Thapa at Nepal Army Bhimdal Battalion. Of them, 295 people underwent surgery.
Major Thapa said that free medicines were provided to the patients. Different types of health treatment including gallstone, kidney stone, piles, hernia and mental disease, said Brigadier General at the Nepal Army Medical College, Dr Sushil Rawat.
A team comprising 126 health workers and specialist doctors had mobilized for the same.
