Road obstructed for four days resumes

The Kaluwapur-Belauri road which has been obstructed by locals of Shuklaphanta Municipality-1, Bansaha, Kanchnapur demanding its upgradation for four days came to resumption from Monday. Agitating locals had agreed to resume the traffic after a consensus was forged to immediately initiate blacktopping of road. The agreement was made on the presence of member of Far West province assembly Lal Bahadur Khadka, concerned ward chair and a representative of road construction contractor's company. Dhirendra Bhatta, Engineer at Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, shared that the province government has been recently mandated to look after the road affairs so the blacktopping saw delay. The road construction and maintenance works will begin from Monday, said Deepak Joshi, a representative of Santoshi-JV Contractor Company.
