Jailbirds to get more books in their library

A province lawmaker has promised to provide books to the library in Jhapa prison house. Lawmaker Basanta Baniya of Province No. 1 pledged to support the library by giving fictional and non-fictional books of Rs 100,000. At a program organized on 22nd anniversary of the library, Baniya made such announcement on Wednesday. Prior to this, many other persons also announced their support for the development of the library established meant for the jailbirds. On the occasion, singers Astha Raut, Rajesh Payal Rai and others performed their creations for the motivation of the jailbirds; while many other people and organizations were feted for their support to the library
