TUTH urges not to stage hunger strike on hospital premises

The Tribhuwan University Teaching University (TUTH) has stated any kind of protest program including hunger strike, relay-strike, sit-in and demonstration should not be held on the hospital premises. Executive Director of TUTH Prem Krishna Khadka issued a press release on Monday after the Nepal Medical Association staged a relay hunger strike and urged them not to stage any kind of demonstration on the hospital premises. The hospital has urged the staging doctors not to do activities which affect the patients on hospital premises . The doctors have started indefinite relay hunger strike from 10 am to 5 pm on hospital premises in solidarity with Dr Govinda KC who is into the 20th day of 16th fast-unto-death demanding the agreement the government signed while ending his last fast be implemented to the letter.
