Snowfall has hit mountainous districts Jumla, Kalikot, Mugu and Humla throwing life and daily routines of the people out of gear for a week.
People’s movements have been largely limited and air and road services affected. Regular flights from and to Jumla are disrupted, said Kailash Sharma, Chief of the Nepal Civil Aviation Authority, Jumla.
The Karnali Highway has been obstructed thereby affecting the commuters, said the District Traffic Office.
"Snowfall continues. We are regularly conducting a security check along the road to control accidents," said Assistant Sub Inspector Madhav Raut.
