Two killed in separate incidents

Jeet Bahadur Nepali of Musikot municipality-1 died in a fire-related incident. The 51-year-old was caught by the fire broke out at his cowshed while attempting to douse it, the District Police Office, Gulmi confirmed. In the incident happened on Monday, he was severely injured and taken to Palpa for treatment where he breathed his last in course of treatment. Meanwhile, a child was killed after being hit by a jeep at Lamahi, Dang today. The deceased has been identified as seven-year-old Hemant Malla, of Phaiti rural municipality-3 and currently living at Ratodanda of Lamahi-5. The accident occurred at around 11 am Tuesday. The jeep (Lu 1 Cha 8041) en route to west from east hit the child leaving him severely injured. The child succumbed to the injuries while undergoing treatment at the Lamahi Hospital, Ward Police Office, Lamahi's inspector Arun Kumar Singh said.
