One goes missing while taking Maghe Sankranti dip in river

A person has gone missing in Devghat Beni, the confluence of Trishuli and Kaligandaki rivers, while taking bath on the occasion of Maghe Sankranti festival Tuesday morning. Deputy Superintendent of Police at District Police Office, Tanahun Shyam Aryal said that Chitra Bahadur Gurung, 24, of Nawalpur Gaindakot went missing at 9:30 am while taking a dip. Gurung is office assistant at Bharatpur office of Kantipur Publications. A team deployed from Disaster Management Center of Armed Police Force, Kurintar, Chitwan, has been carrying out search for missing Gurung.
