Three kids of a same family died in a fire in the house of Navaraj Pun at Banglachuli Rural Municipality-8, Dang Thursday night. Pun’s seven-year-old son Krishna Kumar, daughter Asmita, five, and daughter Anju, two and half, died in the fire triggered in the thatched-roof house by explosion of cell for solar power, according to Spokesperson with Dang District Police Office DSP Ram Prasad Gharti. Seven goats and four cows were also killed all the properties destroyed in the fire. Pun’s 16-month-old son escaped the incident as his wife Jeevana Pun had gone to visit a witch doctor for treatment of the infant putting the three kids in the bed to sleep. Pun was not at home, according to the police. The fire was contained in the midnight with joint effort of the locals and police personnel.
