Buses with stickers on Nirmala Panta leave for Kanchanpur (Photos)

The bus belonging to Mahakali Yatayat (Na 4 Kha 7890) will reach Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur Tuesday morning. Some stickers with photo of Nirmala Panta and a slogan, "Government found, justice not found" pasted on the bus will also reach Mahendranagar along with the passengers traveling on the bus. Thirteen-year-old Nirmala Panta of Bhimdutta municipality of Kanchanpur, who was raped and murdered, was found in a sugarcane field on July 26. Campaigners demanding justice for Nirmala Panta also pasted such stickers on the buses leaving Kathmandu for other parts of the country. The campaigners reached New Buspark at Gongabu on Monday afternoon to paste the stickers on the buses leaving the Kathmandu Valley. They sought permission from bus drivers before pasting the stickers on the buses. Most of the drivers permitted them to paste the stickers stating, "Our daughters should get justice." The police personnel, who earlier had torn the stickers pasted on the walls and poles, did not obstruct the campaigners from pasting the stickers on the buses.
