A huge amount of property was gutted by fire near UN Park in Kathmandu today.
The property worth Rs 60 million was gutted when a furniture house caught fire. A total of 10 fire engines of Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Bhaktapur were used to douse the fire, said Chief of KMC Judda Fire Brigade, Badri Nagarkoti.
No human casualty was reported in the incident and the details of the incident are awaited, he added. Power supply at Buddhanagar area was discontinued to bring the fire under control, it is learnt.
