The Palhinandan rural municipality based in western Nawalparasi has initiated the construction of its administrative building.
The target is to complete the construction within coming two years at the total cost of Rs 83.5 million, said Chairperson of Palhinandan rural municipality, Baiju Prasad Gupta.
Chief Administrative Officer Durga Poudel shared that the administrative building will have 48 rooms. The contract for construction was awarded to the Prakritik Nirman Sewa based in Bhairahawa.
The Gaire Sewa Samaj based in Japan has extended financial assistance of Rs 150,000 to Bhagyodaya Primary School based in Gaindakot municipality-6. The aid amount was handed over to the school for the setup of a revolving fund.
Samaj’s senior vice-chairperson Dilaram Gaire expressed pleasure for the opportunity to provide assistance to the school where the students belonging to poor and disadvantaged families are pursuing their education.
