Two drivers killed in separate accidents in Nuwakot

Two drivers were killed in separate road accidents in Nuwakot district on Monday. 38-year-old Bharat Dhungana of Baraphedi, Likhu rural municipality-1, died of electrocution while trying to lift an overhead electricity cable after his truck was about to touch it. He was driving toward Trishuli from Galchhi, carrying tin boxes, Superintendent of Police, Basanta Bahadur Kunwar, said. The accident happened at Khalte of Belkotgadhi municipality-7. Meanwhile, 38-year-old Dharma Raj Tharu of Birgunj, Parsa, who was critically injured after his tractor fell some 50 meters off the road while unloading sand at Chhahare, Likhu rural municipaliy-6 on Sunday, died in course of treatment at Green City Hospital in Kathmandu on Monday, the District Police Office has stated.
