Police on Friday arrested two people with narcotic drugs worth Rs 5 million.
A team of Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Arun Thapa, 45, of Biratnagar, Morang and Ambar Bahadur, 24, of Bhojpur," informed SSP at the Bureau Bishwo Raj Pokharel.
Police seized drugs worth Rs 5,000,000 including 1,725 ampules of diazepam, 1725 ampules of phenergan and 1525 ampules of brufen tablets.
Thapa was arrested along with 144 grams of brown heroin on June 15, 2006. The court had sentenced him for 10 years. Police informed that Thapa resumed smuggling after completing the jail term in 2017.
