Financial aid to five-year-old cancer patient

A cancer patient has got additional financial aid from in and out of the country. A five-year-old Sirus Shrestha, son of Narayan Shrestha and Sushila Shrestha, of Chautara Sanga Chokgadhi-9 in Sindhupalchowk district, has been suffering from blood cancer. A social worker Umesh KC handed over Rs 85,501 financial aid to the child's aunt, Kishori Shrestha. The child is receiving treatment at Tata Memorial Hospital, Kolkata in India. It will take around Rs four million for the treatment of Sirus, said KC. Around Rs 800,000 has been collected for the treatment of the child so far.
