Man held with 5 kg gold

Kathmandu Police has seized five kilograms of smuggled gold Wednesday morning. A man has been arrested from Tinpiple of Tarakeshwor municipality 2 with the gold he smuggled through Kerung border point with China. A team of Metropolitan Police Circle Tinpiple recovered the gold hidden in a rented vehicle (Ba 2 Kha 6381) after a tip-off, according to a police statement. Sho Bahadur Tamang, 18, of Dahalfedi in Thuman rural municipality 9, Rasuwa has been taken under control for investigation.
