Phone services disrupted in Biratnagar

Telephone lines in some areas of Biratnagar Metropolitan City broke three days ago in the course of repair of drinking water pipes, discontinuing the connection, said the Biratnagar branch of the Nepal Telecom. Two structures of the Telecom got damaged and as a result, around 700 telephone line connections have been disrupted along the road from Shani Temple to Keshalya, said technical officer at the Branch Bachu Raj Khatiwada, adding that it would take at least two months to repair the damaged structures.
