Sub-regional hospital to be integrated into Institute of Health Science

The sub-regional hospital based in Dang is to be merged into the Rapti Institute of Health Science. Following the directive from the Ministry of Health to transfer all the properties and liabilities of the hospital, the sub-regional hospital is to be handed over on coming September 28. An all-party meeting held at the District Administrative Office, Dang on Sunday forged a consensus to transform the hospital to the Institute of Health Science. The all-side meeting attended by the representatives of Civil Society Dang, Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) district chapter, various political parties in the district, Registrar at Rapti Institute of Health Science Ram Prasad Pyakurel and acting superintendent of the sub-regional hospital Dr Janardan Panthi took the decision to complete the hospital handover process within September 28.
