Jailbird dies in Jaleswor prison

A jailbird died in Jaleswor prison of Mahottari district last night. The deceased has been identified as Ram Naresh Sharma, 40, of Gaushala municipality-12, Laxminiya, shared prison in-charge Shovendra Thalkur. He has been living a caged life since August 2017. Sharma was rushed to Jaleswor-based Shanti Community Hospital for treatment when he complained of severe stomach pain last evening. Diagnosed with appendicitis, he died at around 9 pm Wednesday, Thakur informed. He was serving a jail term in a rape case.
