Body of child drowned in Kamala river found

Body of one of the three children who were feared drowned in the Kamala river has been found Sunday morning. Two are still missing. Manjaya Mahara,15, Rahul Mahara,14 of Golbazaar municipality-4 and Krishna Mahato,14, of Aurahi rural municipality had gone to the Kamala river in Utrayani yesterday evening to collect water to be offer in the Shiva temple in Golbazaar. However, they did not return and were feared drowned in the river. Of them, a police team found the body of Krishna Mahato Sunday morning, according to DSP at the Area Police Office Mirchaiya, Dipendra Shaha. An effort is underway to find the remaining two boys, but heavy current in the river is hampering the search.
