The reconstruction of the 2015 earthquake devastated Mangal multi-door Chaitya which is in the world heritage list has completed.
Built in the 19th century, the Soyambhu-based Chaitya will be open for public to offer prayers on Thursday, said Soyambhu Management and Preservation Federation.
The Chaitya (shrine of Buddhists) has been reconstructed in collaboration with the UNESCO, Department of Archeology, Federation, prayers' community and Tribhuvan University's volunteer students and with the financial support of Chhahang Foundation of China.
