Minor killed, parents injured in Banepa landslide

A child was killed while his parents were injured when a landslide hit their house at Narikharka of Mandandeupur of Kavrepalanchok district early Wednesday morning. According to district police office chief Rabiraj Khadka, the deceased minor has been identified as 18-month-old Deepak Tamang. Similarly, deceased child's father Hem Bahadur Tamang and mother Sita Maya Tamang were injured in the incident. The incident had occurred at around 2 am today, police added.
