11-year-old abducted from Kandaghari

An eleven-year-old boy has been abducted from Kandaghari. Nishan Khadka originally from Sindhupalchowk and currently living at Kandaghari was abducted Sunday evening, according to the police. "The abductors demanded Rs 4 million in ransom from the parents of Nishan on Monday," said SSP Biswaraj Pokharel of Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu. "The police are launching investigation into the case," Pokharel said, "The search operation is on." As many as 100 police personnel including SSP of the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu have been mobilized.
