Senior citizen-centric service center into operation in Nepalgunj

A daytime service center for senior citizens has been brought into operation at Nepalgunj sub-metropolis-1, Dhambojhi. Swabalambi Senior Citizen Society Nepal constructed a building to run the service center at the cost of Rs 1.53 million. The financial support for the same was provided by Nepalgunj sub-metropolis. Society Chairperson Nar Bahadur Hamal shared that the service center was operated to help senior citizens spend their time with recreation. Nepalgunj sub-metropolis mayor Dhawal Shumsher JB Rana inaugurated the service center building. Also speaking on the occasion, Deputy Mayor Uma Thapa Magar and ward-1 chairperson Pramod Rijal pledged to equip the service center with recreational facilities for the beneficiaries.
