Foundation stone for the reconstruction of Batu Bhadrakali Temple, damaged by Gorkha earthquake, has been laid.
Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolis (KMC) Bidya Sundar Shakya laid the foundation stone for the reconstruction of the temple located at the KMC-22 Monday.
On the occasion, Shakya said support from all sides was necessary in reconstruction of all quake-damaged heritages of KMC.
Saying all people have concern over reconstruction of heritages, KMC Deputy Mayor Hari Prabha Khadgi stressed the need of initiating reconstruction after making a schedule.
A total of Rs 200 million has been allocated for the reconstruction of the temple, constructed during the reign of King Pratap Malla.
