Ratu river's bridge to operate soon

The construction of a new bridge over the Ratu river is to be completed 16 months ahead of the deadline. The river is the border of Mahottari and Dhanusha districts along the East-West Highway.

Kalika To The Rasuwa JB Kathmandu, a construction company, had signed the contract to complete the bridge construction by mid-January 2020. However, the Company has completed the construction in a way to operate it within mid-August, 2018.

Having length of 250 meters and breadth of 10.9 meters, the bridge is the lifeline linking the East-West Highway and federal capital Kathmandu.
