People have been facing problems in their movement after landslides occurred at various places from Sundaredhunga of Rainadevi Chhahara rural municipality to Juthapauwa have obstructed transport service there for the past one month.
They have been facing problems in their movement from rural municipality office to District headquarters due to the landslide.
The locals are forced to walk to reach to their respective destinations as the landslide occurred at some seven places from Juwapauwa to Nepane has not been removed yet.
Although bus service was brought into operation from Juthapawa to Saljhandi from last fiscal year, the locals are now compelled to walk around two hours from mid-June due to obstruction of bus service following the landslide.
A local Som Bahadur Rayamajhi said the rural municipality has not paid any attention to remove the landslide.
He said patients as well as elderly persons and children have been hit hard most due to the obstruction of transport service following the landslide.
Chairperson of Rainadevi Chhahara rural municipality RamBahadur Karki said that the transport service would be resumed after removing the landslide debris soon after rain stops.
