Laying of Melamchi water pipeline affects internet in Kathmandu

Laying of Melamchi water pipeline has affected internet service in some areas of the Kathmandu Valley. "Internet service in seven places of Kathmandu Valley has been affected due to the laying of water pipeline that is underway," said Dhurba Kafle, Chief of Information Technology Division of the KMC. He said the service would resume soon. Free internet connection has been set up in Pashupatinath Area, Balaju Park, Shankha Park, Swayambhu, Bauddha and Hanumandhoka Durbar area as per the agreement between WorldLink and the Kathmandu Metropolitan City three months ago.
