Local govt offices in Rupandehi mourn Dharan mayor Subba

Various local levels in Rupandehi, the district in Province 5, were closed Sunday, mourning the death of Dharan Sub-metropolis Mayor Tara Subba who passed away few days ago. The Sainamaina and Tilottama municipalities also held the mourning assemblies, to condole the death of mayor of local government in Sunsari, the part of Province 1. Subba had died of pneumonia at the age of 53. "We decided to close the local level offices with pay tribute to the departed one," Sainamaina Mayor Chitra Bahadur Karki.
