Cyclist killed after being hit by scooter in Babarmahal

A cyclist died after being hit by a scooter at Babarmahal last night. Hira Bahadur Thani,24, a resident of Ramechap and currently living in Thimi, Bhaktapur was hit by a scooter (Ba 72 Pa 5038) at 11:45 pm. He died while undergoing treatment at Annapurna Neuro Hospital at around 1:30 am, according to Metropolitan Traffic Police Division spokesperson Surendra Prasad Mainali. Two people traveling on the scooter were also injured and they are undergoing treatment at the same hospital.
