Motorcyclist killed, pillion riders injured in Jhapa road mishap

A motorcyclist died in a road accident at Kamal rural municipality-4in Jhapa district along East-West Highway today. The identity of the deceased has not been ascertained yet. According to the District Traffic Police Office, the accident took place when a bus (Na 4 Kha 7509) heading toward west from east hit the motorcycle (Ko 9 Pa 8956). Two pillion riders including Umesh Khadka and Amar Limbu of Kamal rural municipality were injured in the accident. Police Inspector Rajesh Rai said that the injured have been sent to a Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital for treatment. Police have impounded the bus.
