Falling stones kill two women in Bajhang

Two women were killed when they were hit by falling stones on a hill slope at Basti of Talkot rural municipality in the district. The women had been working on construction of the gabion wall of a rural road at the time of the incident. The victims have been identified as 45-year-old Meera Rokaya and 32-year-old Junkiri Chandara of Basti, Talkot rural municipality-3. The accident happened at 6:30 pm on Thursday, according to police. The two women who were critically injured took their last breath on the way to hospital, it is stated.
