20 arrested for power hooking

Nepal Electricity Authority Distribution Center in Rajbiraj on Wednesday arrested 20 individuals for stealing electric power. A joint inspection team from NEA and the District Police Office arrested them from various locations for power hooking, NEA Center's Chief Chandra Narayan Sah said. Sah added that police also confiscated three sets of water-drawing motors, two LD television sets and two laptops. They were made to cough up Rs 15,502, Sah added.
