Reconstruction of the Nepal Academy which was damaged by the 2015 April earthquake is in full swing.
The Academy says that it targets to complete the rebuilding works that began in last July within the next two or three months. So far, we have achieved the three-fourth progress and all the works are expected to be completed soon, member-secretary Jibendra Dev Giri said.
The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA), the government body formed to carry out post-quake reconstruction works, has agreed to bear the reconstruction cost. The Academy was established in 1957 as a national institution for the promotion of languages, literature, culture, philosophy and social sciences.
