Fire breaks out in Biratnagar

Livestock and properties estimated at Rs 50,000 were gutted in a sudden fire which broke out at 11 pm last night at Belbari – 7 in Morang. The fire quickly spread through the house belonging to one Dil Maya Thakuri and destroyed clothes, food commodities and crockery. Ducks and chickens in the farm were killed in the fatal fire, according to the Province 1 Police Office, Biratnagar said. The fire was taken under control by the locals with help from police officers.
