Midday meals for students of Millijuli Elementary School

The Laxmi Group has pledged to provide midday meals to the students of the Millijuli Elementary School of Syangde in Myagde rural municipality – 7. Group's administrator and social worker Durga Bahadur Adhikari has pledged to offer midday meals to 18 students enrolled in the school for at least six months. Adhikari will also be awarding the students from grade one, two and three with outstanding performances in the exams a cash prize of Rs 500 each. On the occasion, ward no 7 Chairman Padam Raj Wagle pledged to bear the expenses of pencils, copies and school uniforms for poor students in the school. School's Chairman Nar Bahadur BK and Principal Narayani Ghimire said the commitments for support came to save the school as it was on verge of merger with another educational institute.
